Dr. Peter K. Vogt, a renowned virologist, member of the National Academy of Sciences (U.S.A.) and Professor of The Scripps Research Institute (La Jolla, CA, U.S.A.), visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) between September 11 and September 13, 2019, at the invitation of Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/CNCL and Dean of School of Pharmacy, Fudan University). During the visit, he paid a visit to Shanghai Institute of Precision Medicine to interact with Drs. Ming Lei (Executive Director) and Pengfei Lan (Associate Professor), briefed by Ms. Xiao Liu (a postgraduate student from School of Pharmacy, Fudan University) of her research work, and made exchanges with Professor Dehua Yang from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences as well as several graduate students who are studying at CNCL. Dr. Wang greeted and saw him off upon his arrival at and departure from Pudong International Airport.
