In the afternoon of April 6, 2018, Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library and Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University) met with Sir Stephen O'Rahilly (Professor of Medicine and Director of Metabolic Research Laboratories, University of Cambridge), a renowned expert in metabolic diseases at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, U.K. Dr. Wang invited him to attend 2019 Queenstown Molecular Biology Meeting in Shanghai and give a plenary session lecture. Sir Stephen delightfully accepted the invitation and discussed respective research interest with Dr. Wang.
