In the afternoon of November 25, 2014, South China Chemical Compound Resource Sharing Meeting was held in Guangzhou. It was chaired by Professor Min Huang (Dean of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sun Yat-Sen University) and attended by more than 10 senior representatives from Sun Yat-Sen University, Xiamen University, Jinan University, Southern Medical University, South China Sea Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health, CAS, University of Macau and Hong Kong Baptist University.  The delegates reported their respective achievements in compound collection and screening for new drugs. Professor Ming-Wei Wang, Director of the National Center for Drug Screening, briefed the participants with the development goals and associated implement measures of the Chinese National Compound Library, which received enthusiastic responses among the audience.
