Professor Ming-Wei Wang, Director of the National Center for Drug Screening and the Chinese National Compound Library, visited Department of Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (SKL), Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong on November 24, 2014. A warm reception was given by Professor Aimin Xu, Director of SKL. Prior to his invited lecture on class B GPCRs, Dr. Wang toured the research and development facility at SKL.

On November 23, 2014, Dr. Wang attended Asian Biological Medicine Summit Forum in Hangzhou—The International Symposium on Natural Products Chemistry and Chemical Biology 2014 and Asian Chemical Biology Initiative 2014 Hangzhou Meeting, respectively, where he delivered an invited lecture.
