In the afternoon of January 14, 2014, Professor Zhu Chen, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, met with Professor Ming-Wei Wang, Director of the National Center for Drug Screening and the Chinese National Compound Library, at his office in Shanghai. He was briefed with the recent progresses made by three Novo Nordisk China-related research funds initiated by him between 2007 and 2013. Professor Wang also attended the project review meeting of Professor Chen’s research group at Shanghai Institute of Hematology. Professor Saijuan Chen, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering was present.
