In the early evening of September 26, 2019, Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library and Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University) held a teleconference via Skype with Professor Peter Carmeliet, Professor Nico Callewaert, Dr. Mieke Dewerchin, Dr. Guy Eelen and Dr. Wim Nerinckx of VIB-KU Leuven Center for Cancer Biology, Belgium. They briefed each other of the progresses made during the past two months relative to a collaborative research project sponsored by Chinese and Belgian governments. Follow-up tasks were also discussed in great detail. Professor Dehua Yang and Assistant Professor Yan Zhou from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as a postgraduate student of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ms. Jie Li, participated in the conference.
