Accompanied by Professor Jian Ding and Professor Yang Ye, President of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Professor Helmut Denk, and his seven colleagues visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) in the morning of December 6, 2011. Professor Ming-Wei Wang briefly introduced the development, culture and prospect of the library. Chinese Academy of Sciences and Austrian Academy of Sciences have a good tradition of cooperation. The Austrian guests were very impressed with the scale and infrastructure of this state-of-the-art research facility, and expressed that they would follow-up the development of CNCL and promote future scientific collaborations and exchanges.
