In the evening of December 29, 2019, Professor Ming-Wei Wang, Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library and Dean of School of Pharmacy, Fudan University, met with Dr. Kurt Wüthrich, Professor of The Scripps Research Institute and 2002 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, and his wife Mrs. Marianne Wüthrich in La Jolla, California, U.S.A. During the invited dinner, they shared many fond memories of their long-standing friendship and exchanged views regarding training of high level talents for innovation. Dr. Wang also briefed Dr. Wüthrich of the proposition and execution plan to establish Department of Chemical Biology at School of Basic Medical Sciences, Fudan University, hoping to promote research collaborations.
