On October 26, 2019, Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library and Dean of School of Pharmacy, Fudan University) attended the “Hainan University High-level Biopharmaceutical Forum” in Haikou, Hainan Province. He was warmly received by Professor Sulan Luo (Dean, School of Life and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Hainan University) and her associates. In the morning, Dr. Wang delivered an invited lecture entitled “Small molecule agonists for class B G protein-coupled receptors: past, present and future”, which was enthusiastically responded by the audience. He chaired an afternoon lecture session where Drs. Wencai Ye (Vice President of Jinan University), Fengyuan Chen (Professor at Xinhua Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University) and J. Michael Mcintosh (Chairman of Psychiatry Department, University of Utah, U.S.A.) presented their exciting work. He also interacted with Drs. Demin Zhou (Dean, Peking University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences) and Jianwei Zhu (Dean, School of Pharmacy, Shanghai Jiaotong University).
