In the afternoon of September 20, 2019, Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library and Dean of School of Pharmacy, Fudan University) visited West China School of Pharmacy, Sichuan University in Chengdu. He was warmly received by Professor Yuan Huang (CPC Committee Secretary), Qin He (Vice Dean), Mr. Cheng Zhang (CPC Committee Deputy Secretary) and Professor Junrong Du (Chairman of Department of Pharmacology). He made one-to-one exchange with Professor Zhirong Zhang (former Dean) and delivered an invited lecture entitled “Small molecule agonists for class B G protein-coupled receptors: past, present and future”, which was enthusiastically responded by the audience. Dr. Wang held a roundtable discussion thereafter with teacher and graduate student representatives from Department of Pharmacology covering hot topics in the field of drug discovery.
