Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Director, The National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library and Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University) visited Walter+Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research at Melbourne (Australia) in the morning of September 3, 2019. He was warmly received by Professor Alan Cowman (FRS, Deputy Director) and Professor David Huang (Head of InSPIRE Program), and interacted with Associate Professor Peter Czabotar (Head of Structure Biology Division) and his graduate student, Ms. Zhen Yuan (an alumna of Fudan School of Pharmacy), Associate Professor Jeff Babon (Structure Biology Division) and his graduate student, Mr. Yuntong Wu (an alumnus of Fudan School of Pharmacy), Dr. Anne-Laure Puaux (Head of Commercialization/Business Development), Dr. Jousset Sabroux (Head of Screening Laboratory) and Dr. Jeff Mitchell (Head of National Drug Discovery Centre). During the visit, Dr. Wang also met with Ms. Huijia Liu and Yichun Cao, two alumni from Fudan School of Pharmacy, and held a roundtable discussion with a dozen of other 4^th year undergraduate students from Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, Jinan University and Fudan University School of Life Sciences, who are presently enrolled in summer internship studies at the institute.
