In the afternoon of July 16, 2019, Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library and Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University) held a teleconference with Professor Peter Carmeliet, Professor Nico Callewaert, Dr. Mieke Dewerchin and Dr. Guy Eelen of VIB-KU Leuven Center for Cancer Biology, Belgium. They reviewed achievements made so far relative to a collaborative research project sponsored by Chinese and Belgian governments. Follow-up tasks were also discussed in great detail. Professor Dehua Yang and Assistant Professor Yan Zhou from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as two postgraduate students of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ms. Jie Li and Ms. Viktorija Labroska (from North Macedonia), participated in the conference.
