After the successful launching of the 1st Queenstown Molecular Biology (Shanghai) Meetings in March 2013, we repeated that experience from 2014 to 2019 which received tremendous responses among both domestic and overseas scientific communities. As a result, the Queenstown Molecular Biology Meetings Society of New Zealand, the National Center for Drug Screening and Shanghai Pudong Engineers Association will hold 2020 Queenstown Molecular Biology (Shanghai) Meetings between March 19 and March 20, 2020. The event will focus on the theme of “Drug Discovery and Resource Sharing”.

Queenstown Molecular Biology (QMB) Meetings were initiated in New Zealand in 1991 as an annual gathering of bioscientists in New Zealand and Australia, which has become a well-known international science forum over the years and is held during the last week of August each year. We started a spring version of this conference in Shanghai as part of Sino-New Zealand collaborations in science and technology. The sponsors include Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, CAS, Fudan University, Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration, Maurice Wilkins Center of New Zealand, Novo Nordisk A/S of Denmark, the Chinese National Compound Library, Shanghai Pudong Association for Science and Technology, Zhangjiang High-Tech Park, Acta Pharmacologica Sinica, Asian Chemical Biology Initiative and Chinese Network for Drugs and Diagnostics Innovation, etc.

Meeting Venue: China Financial Information Center (Address: 18 Dongyuan Road, Lujiazui, Shanghai 200120, China), it is located closely to Grand Kempinski Hotel (map attached).

The attendees should cover their own transportation and accommodation expenses. To register, please fill out the form below and send it via E-mail to czhang@simm.ac.cn. The registration deadline is February 29, 2020. A registration fee of RMB 3000 Yuan should be paid upon formal notification. Late registration between March 1 and March 18, 2020 shall pay a higher rate of RMB 3500 Yuan. The bank information is as follows:
