Dr. Na Li from Macau University of Science and Technology visited the National Center For Drug Screening (NCDS) in the afternoon of August 27, 2017. She was warmly received by Professor Ming-Wei Wang, Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library and Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University. They recalled their joint efforts over a decade ago in discovering of Boc5, the world first small molecule agonist of class B G-protein receptors with therapeutic effects in animal models of diabetes and obesity. The hardship and tenacity that they experienced could never be forgotten. Professor Wang also invited Dr. Li to attend the 2018 Queenstown Molecular Biology Meetings in Shanghai.
