In the morning of August 11, 2017, Professor Ming-Wei Wang, Director of the National Center for Drug Screening/Chinese National Compound Library and Dean, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University, met with Dr. Joan Heller Brown (Distinguished Professor and Chair, Department of Pharmacology) at University of California, San Diego (UCSD) based in La Jolla, U.S.A. They briefed each other with their respective area of research and common interests, and expressed the desire to establish collaboration. Dr. Wang particularly invited Dr. Brown to participate in 2018 Queenstown Molecular Biology Meetings in Shanghai. Dr. Jing Li (Associate Professor, Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences) who is doing her sabbatical research at UCSD attended the discussion.
