Dr. Vish Nene, Director of International Livestock Research Institute (Nairobi, Kenya), visited Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM), Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) on June 11, 2015. He was warmly greeted by Drs. Hualiang Jiang (Director of SIMM) and Ming-Wei Wang (Director of CNCL). He also conducted a series of discussions with Professor Hu Zhou and a number of other Chinese scientists and graduate students. In the afternoon, Dr. Vish delivered an invited lecture entitled “Design of East Coast fever vaccines via reverse immunology”.
