Between December 18 and 20, 2014, Dr. Ming-Wei Wang, Director of the National Center for Drug Screening and the Chinese National Compound Library, participated in a visiting, exchange and teaching program organized by Asian Chemical Biology Initiative (ACBI). The nine established scientists from Japan, Korea, Singapore and China were led by Professor Motonari Uesugi of Kyoto University and included Drs. Seung Bum Park (Seoul), Minoru Yoshida (RIKEN, Tokyo), Young-Tae Chang (Singapore), Kazuya  Kikuchi (Osaka), Shiroh Futaki (Kyoto), Fumi Nagatsugi (Tohoku), Koichi Fukase (Osaka) and Ming-Wei Wang (Shanghai). They were warmly received by Mr. Tun Dato Seri Zaki Tun Azmi (Chairman, Board of Directors), Professor Shahril Yusof (Deputy Vice-Chancellor), professors and students from several faculties of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).
