In the morning of September 24, 2014, Professor Zhu Chen, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, met with Dr. Børge Diderichsen, an old friend and Vice President (R&D Outreach) of Novo Nordisk A/S, and Dr. Baoping Wang (President of Novo Nordisk China R&D Center) in Beijing. A productive discussion was carried out between them relative to collaboration in translational medicine. Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Director, the National Center for Drug Screening and the Chinese National Compound Library) participated in the meeting.
