In the afternoon of April 25, 2014, Professor Zhu Chen, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, met with Mr. Lars Rebien Soerensen, an old friend and CEO of Novo Nordisk A/S, and Dr. Kezhou Zhang (Vice President of Clinical, Medical and Regulatory Affairs, Novo Nordisk China) at the Diaoyutai State Guest House in Beijing. A productive discussion was carried out between them relative to collaboration in translational medicine. Mr. Soerensen also looks forward to visiting the Chinese National Compound Library later this year. Dr. Ming-Wei Wang (Director, the National Center for Drug Screening and the Chinese National Compound Library) participated in the meeting.
