In the morning of April 24, 2014, Vice Minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC), Professor Qian Liu, met with Professor Ming-Wei Wang, Director of the National Center for Drug Screening and the Chinese National Compound Library, at his office in Beijing. He was briefed with the details about the latest progresses made in operating and further developing the national compound resource platform for drug discovery. Thereafter, Dr. Wang visited Professor Chen Wang (Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Director-General of the Science, Technology and Education Department, NHFPC), Dr. Peixin Wu (Section Chief of the Science, Technology and Education Department, NHFPC) and Associate Professor Jing Zhang (the Science, Technology and Education Department, NHFPC).
