In the afternoon of February 17, 2014, Professor Hejun Yin, Vice President of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), , Bureau Director Yuechao Wang, Deputy Bureau Director Ronghui Su, Section Chief Lianqing Lv, Section Chief Xiaobo Ren and Professor Jie Liu from Bureau of Major Research and Development Programs, CAS and Secretary Yuan Lv from General Office of CAS visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL). They were accompanied by Professor Jian Ding and Professor Hualiang Jiang, Director and Deputy Director of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM), CAS, respectively.

Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Director of CNCL) briefly introduced the history, culture and development plan of CNCL. Professor Yin was deeply impressed by this national resource and technology center in drug discovery. He emphasized that CNCL should exert an important role in promoting mega programs, supporting large projects and providing inclusive services nationwide in order to make China a country of innovation.

Professor Fajun Nan (Deputy Director of CNCL) and Professor Jia Li (Assistant Director of SIMM), among others, participated in this event.
