Professor Ronald J. Quinn, Foundation Director of the Eskitis Institute, Griffith University, Australia and three of his associates visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) in the morning of April 24, 2013. They were accompanied by Professor Yang Ye (Deputy Director) of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Professor Ye briefly introduced the history and development plan of the library. This state-of-the-art research facility and its cultural environment greatly impressed the guests.
