From October 24 to October 30, 2012, Professor Hualiang Jiang (Deputy Director, Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences), Professor Ming-Wei Wang (Director, the National Center for Drug Screening/the Chinese National Compound Library), Madam Liping Wang (Division Chief, Bureau of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences) and two of their colleagues visited several collaborators located in Basel, Paris and Copenhagen, including Novartis, Servier, Copenhagen Protein Research Center and Novo Nordisk, respectively. They were warmly greeted by senior executives of these organizations, and the parties concerned have reached mutual understanding relative to bilateral exchange and cooperation in the next few years. The group also visited world renowned Niels Bohr Institute and Lund University in Sweden during this trip.
