Professor Ming-Wei Wang, Director of the National Center for Drug Screening and the Chinese National Compound Library, has recently been appointed as an Editor of Biochemical Journal for an initial tenure of three years. With an impact factor (IF) of 5.016 (2010), Biochemical Journal is highly respected amongst the biochemistry community around the world. In his invitation letter, Professor Peter Shepherd, Chair of the Editorial Board, not only commends Professor Wang’s contributions to chemical biology but also expects him to be "a very valuable member of the Editorial Board".
