Dr. Napoleone Ferrara, Genentech Fellow and a recipient of the 2010 Lasker-DeBakey Clinical Medical Research Award, his wife Chika and Professor Hua Yu from Beckman Research Institute, City of Hope (USA) visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) in the morning of April 12, 2012. They were accompanied by Mr. Fei Lin and Mr. Weiqiang Shen, both from Shanghai Biotecan Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. Professor Ming-Wei Wang briefly introduced the history and development plan of the library. Drs. Ferrara and Yu were impressed by this world class facility and its cultural environment, and hope to promote academic exchange and collaboration.
