Dr. Bernard Marchand, General Manager of the Institut de Recherche Servier, led a group of senior executives and scientists in discovery research visited the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL) in the afternoon March 20, 2012. Professor Ming-Wei Wang briefly introduced the development history and future plan of the library. The French guests were impressed by this world-class research facility and its cultural environment, and hope to promote bilateral exchange and collaboration. Professor Yang Ye, Deputy Director of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM), Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as Professor Dafang Zhong of SIMM, accompanied the visit.
