Professor Wei Zhao, President of the University of Macau, Professor Yi-Tao Wang, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research of Chinese Medicine and their five colleagues visited the National Center for Drug Screening (NCDS) and the Chinese National Compound Library (CNCL), respectively, in the afternoon of March 8, 2012. The guests were accompanied by Professor Jian Ding, Director of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Professor Jia Li briefly introduced the development status of these two key technology and resource platforms in drug discovery. President Zhao commended that the operating mechanism, management system and innovative culture of both NCDS and CNCL are well advanced, worth studying, imitating and promoting.
